now that the selected owners have been officially briefed about the car - is anyone here lucky enough to be getting one?

here's what's pretty much known so far

open top version will be made
-80~kg
+44hp
new seats
new breaking system
entire body in cf as an option
extreme aero
price of near 1m euros

it's said that the car was originally developed as an XX car then they decided to make it a special road legal edition instead and will have very good track performance

this makes a lot of sense to me as the sf90 had no luggage space etc anyway so I think it's perfect as a more extreme track car

will be interesting to see how many are used though as the 812C/tdf are trading for around £1m over list now so there's a tidy profit by pretty much anyones measure to store it and sell !

Working to get one will let you know!)!

I think the SF90 is a VERY underrated car and the SF90LM might just get the attention the original platform deserved in the first place.

Hooray for another fastest and greatest Ferrari!

I think I can safely say that I’m glad I’m not on the list for this as that looks horrific!

that would be sick without the wing, although the bodged in ADAS isn't very clean.

I believe you meant “sic” but unfortunately I have to agree with your spelling. It makes me feel sick.

I know it’s a sign of age and there is no other barometer that matches the “last good Ferrari” test. But, wow, I’m old because that is st. It makes the Senna look like a masterpiece. If this came from a small Dutch company we could forgive it as it looks like it’s parents abused drugs. But Ferrari are meant to be beautiful to Lambotghini’s bat st crazy.

For me the issue isn’t affordability, it’s desirability.

There it is. My time to post like so many before. I’m content stepping off the treadmill.

I expect these will trade for 500k-1m over list, they are going to be extremely limited!

imo it looks great but I always gravitate towards agressive looking race cars

Is that a radar unit for cruise on a drop down flap?

I am also never impressed by cosmetic carbon. I can appreciate a carbon body with the weave on show through the paint. But, air vents/intakes in carbon just stick out for me in the wrong way. McLaren are just as guilty. Switching out plastic parts that would be reasonable to replace if damaged with carbon. As an engineer by education, what are the benefits? For the vast majority of cases there are no benefits. It just looks "cool". Well, I am afraid it doesn't.

From what I hear the upcoming F167 might hit the spot for you.

It's not just for the looks. It's main function is to generate ridiculous amounts of profit margin for nominal outlay by the manufacturer.
Posh fibreglass = big bucks.

Saw one of these in coupe form "pootling" around the factory 6 weeks or so ago. It looks and sounds lovely in the flesh, these pictures don't really do it justice. In our party one had a Coupe coming and another a Spider - neither was disappointed.

Couldn’t agree more Adam. I have an AF SF90 Coupe and it’s a tour de force. I’m old school had 964 RS, 993 RS and still don’t get why bumpy road mode button is in any Ferrari. On the SF90, I think it’s problem was first hybrid, first to market in a new price range and it doesn’t photo well. But to drive and when you see an AF in the flesh especially against a 296, one looks like a HyperCar and the other looks similar to a Lotus Evora.. I would prefer there was no hybrid ev in any car, let alone Ferrari Mclaren or Lamborghini. Other than Mclaren I’ve owned them all.. however it is where we are now and this SF90 AF is an incredible car. I’m actually Inma weird position of having a non refundable deposit on the SF90 XX and for the 1st time I’m really giving serious thought not to take it.. for the reasons someone posted earlier about the % gains and 80% of the price. Plus it just looks like to me my AF Coupe with a very questionable body kit. Priced up one with the usual extras and it’s close to £800k and I really don’t want the hassle of Carbon wheels.. to me it makes the AF SF90 coupe stand out as incredible value, and now I look at my boot space diffently hahaha
You could buy a used AF Coupe + used 488 Challenge Evo and keep £200k in the bank, extend the manufacturers warranty to 7 years with the AF SF90 for £15k and maybe retrofit the Novitec Suspension Lifter kit to the AF SF90 for £5k, job done, more usable road car than SF90 XX and 488 Challenge Evo better track car than SF90 XX. I know for a fact that the 488 Challenge EVO is still quicker round Fiorano than this new SF90 XX, even though they are hinting at significant reduction over base SF90. Can’t believe I’m saying this, as I’m a Ferrari fan and client, but this SF90 XX is master of none. Should have stuck to SF90 Stradale for the Road and Assetto Fiorano SF90 for more track orientated needs.. unfortunately their heads are in Wall Street now..

I agree your take on the SF90 LM - it's an overkill which is very difficult to justify. Also because the car is even more difficult to use. I have started to look at the SF90. It's clearly rather unloved (relatively) and people compare it to the 296. I drove the 296 at length and it left me rather cold. The SF90 has much more dramatic looks and is a true supercar whereas the 296 has a supercar price but is seen as an everyday Ferrari. How is the SF90 as an ownership experience. Is is easy to live with or is the fact that it has no luggage space and that it needs to be connected to a socket when not in use a real challenge. ?

not hard at all to justify for those who were offered one, with the limited numbers it's most likely going to trade at £500k+ over
