Now, I know the reputation, a friend of mine in Leeds has been privileged enough to had the full “experience” but they’ve been brought to my attention again and I’m confused.
A client of my company has been in the market for an Aventador Ultimae Roadster, he’s been after a dark green or blue car. He scours the sites all the time and in the last few days found one, delivery miles in Verde Gea and it is a lovely thing but then he noticed the seller.
He also noticed that they have…….
Bugatti Veyron
SF90 Spider with a few hundred miles
SF90
812 GTS
Phantom ( with chav tat )
and 444 other cars???
Has there been some kind of big change at this dealer, I can’t for one minute believe anyone would S.O.R an SF90 spider with them so has someone got involved and actually gone down the route of a proper dealer, no irony intended.
I checked and aside from the obvious high mileage wedding cars there’s a 1974 Carrera, a very straight looking red import Impreza, an nice Evo, a Carrera club sport and an M3 Evo 1…..not your usual chav gangster stuff.
Whilst I expect this will be closed due to name and shame, would be nice if anyone had heard owt?
Needles to say said client will continue his search.

Watching with a lot of interest.
Different level but I'm looking at Huracan Performante's and this place has over 10% of the cars available for sale, one of which is a low miles (I know, I know ...it would need verifying), very well-spec'd, one owner car.
I immediately disregarded it because it's from 'them', and their reputation simply doesn't warrant the risk. It's also interesting that some finance companies won't deal with them either...both points perhaps highlighting a reason why their stock doesn't appear to sell where others do (these Perf's being a good case point).
So, in the same spirit as the OP, I find it inexplicable that they a) have so much nice (and rare) stock and b) that anyone looking to sell their car at these levels (assuming much of this stock is SOR like everywhere else in the market) would choose them to do so when, surely, there are plenty of other more reputable options.
In my example, and I'm sure others, it does go to highlight just how a reputation alone is a total barrier to a genuine transaction being able to take place, regardless of how 'good' the stock might be.

@Palmball - watch out for clocked Perf's. A Lambo Service Manager once told me that they see a lot of cars that have had a haircut.
Yes, thank you - I have a regular Huracan currently and made sure I did my due diligence on that - I wouldn’t entertain one until it’s been through a Lambo dealer check. In fact, I’m only going to buy one through a Lambo dealer regardless of where it’s being sold - all these cars are on SOR so I’m happy to pay a relatively small premium to buy it as an approved used car and I have a dealer who is being very helpful to facilitate this. They have four ECU’s (which thankfully on mine all add up) so unless the criminals have found a way to reduce all them, including the gearbox ECU, then a Lambo dealer should be able to flush out the less genuine ones.
There’s a regular Huracan for sale currently being advertised with 40k miles (there or thereabouts) yet on the pictures of the dashboard the mileage shows 51k!

Google reviews are entertaining reading if you are bored, some have to have been specifically written up by "friends" or family I'd guess.
"It was much better than any other shop I'd shopped at before"
Seems legit, that's how real humans speak about car dealers. That's not at all the kind of language I'd expect to be spat out by a bot.

And "automobile".
Seems like someone has discovered ChatGPT but not realised you can't just copypaste output.
Well Zory, Zoemarie, Ziomara, Zoe, Zoraida F and Zoraida V were all so impressed that they all felt the need to write a glowing review within the same week. These a consecutive reviews listed in time order, so I can only presume there was a convention nearby for people whose name starts with Z and a big group all decided to head out and buy a car during lunch.
If I was fortunate enough to be able to look at an Aventador of any sort I would be buying from a Lambo Main Dealer, or from a recognised specialist if the car still had a Lambo warranty on it that could also be extended.
The number of people who do not do any due diligence on a dealer before shelling out a six figure sum is still amazing. Perhaps it is the fact the car they are looking at is significantly cheaper than all others available, or it is 100% the spec they want and it is the only one available - then the "I must have it" part of the brain appears to take over.
The number of threads I have seen here over the years about dream cars that have been bought outside of Main Dealer networks, or from an after market source without a warranty, and that have then had horrific repair bills or stupid mileages revealed is beyond counting.

new lambo's come now with a 4 year warranty and service pack as standard, this car was registered may 22 so has 3 years left. you can only extend the manufacturers warranty on a lambo by 1 year, and only at time of purchase. If purchased from a main dealer after year 4, it will come with a factory approved 1 year warranty. this paint is also factory, not a wrap, just saying70proof said:

You can actually buy the extended warranty yourself, either one or two year terms, subject to a successful and clean inspection by a Lamborghini dealer. They're not cheap though c.£3k pa on Huracan and I believe £6k on Aventador...both more than equivalent McLaren's!I have done this two years running on my 6 year old Huracan (which I owned whilst in manufacturers warranty and extended annually since). You can only do this on cars up to seven years old and up to 42k miles, so if I was keeping my car I would shortly be buying a two year extension now so it's warranted up to 8 years old and way beyond the 42k miles.
