Modena valley - factory & museums visits
Discussion
Just heading back from a few days in Bologna with my 11 year old nephew.
Going back 10 years ago, me & a few mates did an organised trip which included a day spent visiting Lamborghini, Pagani & Ferrari.
I promised said car mad nephew that I’d take him there when he was old enough to appreciate it so delivered.
The company (Motorstars) was still going so booked it in January. €600 for the both of us which includes museum & production line tours of Lamborghini & Pagani and the Ferrari museum.
What a great day. The company are connected as many of the staff are retired employees so great access. I’d highly recommend it for kids & big kids.

I went to Maranello in 2019 as I'm a big Ferrari fan, we had to miss out so much stuff as we only had 5 days to get from MK to Maranello and back.
We visited, Schumacher collection (Koln), quick stop at Sinsheim (to see Concorde and Concordski), Ducati, Ferruccio Lamborghini museum, Ferrari museum and a few drinks in Maranello.

The new Pagani factory is impressive but I loved visiting the old place, it felt like visiting a friends' garage when it was a small operation. Horacio's mementos displayed as if on a family mantelpiece.
But such is progress, Ferrari and Lamborghini are unrecognisable from my first visits in the 90's.

Went in 2017, did Ferrari owners factory tour, Lambo Museum during Senna tribute (bumped into Valentino Balboni), Pagani and Enzo Museum in Modena.
All well worth a visit.

What an Uncle!
He’s absolutely car mad. Particularly for Italian cars. His parents (my in laws) aren’t car people & we don’t have kids so it’s my duty…lolWe finished off our trip at Spring Alfa Day in Duxford via the American War Cemetery near Cambridge (to give him some perspective).
He’s a good lad & took all that in too.
