I’m hoping PH do an article on this lot

It’s the collection of Jon Hunt, who owned Foxtons the estate agents in London. Also had the YouTube channel tax the rich which used to do some funny videos: https://youtu.be/Z-4v4I7Gzk0

Wonder what the total Lot value will reach - will be interested to see antibodies thoughts but there’s all sorts of things to like there - as much as I like modern things the Miura stands out to me.

Ballpark £20m?

Looking at the prices on the cars surely it’s more like £30+ easily!

He is certainly calling the market. An extremely savvy investor.

There's usually a link on the website - I doubt this sale is any different

That’s clearly a investors scared of the falling market, whatever he can sell now will save him a lot of money in a few months.

What… I’m not sure someone worth over 1 billion will be particularly bothered if a few of the collection, drops in value.

Or Perhaps estate planning? Or ill Health? Maybe wants to fund a new venture?

Can be a whole host of reasons to why they are selling

He is keeping some of his gems for sure like clk gtr but I would not classify this as some of his collection... It would appear to be the bulk of it. All the wholly grail Ferraris Enzo kafnetc.

So why isn’t he selling his houses then too?

It’s because your assumption is wrong

I listened to some of the auction, I don’t know why, but it almost feels sad to see the collection broken up. I’d love to know why this path has been chosen, I hope it has nothing to do with I’ll health or any kind of estate consolidation.

I can only imagine the feeling for a petrolhead pulling this assortment of cars together.

It could just be a case of having got bored of it. With that many cars you're not going to get the time to drive them all regularly, so might as just keep a couple of the more usable cars and do frequent trips in them.
