Valkyrie - Silverstone
Discussion
There's an article about the design process in the latest Magneto magazine. Since I'm not a potential buyer, my opinion is irrelevant but I just don't get the car at all. I don't find it either pretty or exciting to look at. There's no room inside (and a load of silly screens instead of proper gauges etc.) and it all seems to be about the aero and weight and not about whether it is any kind of pleasure for the driver. Gordon Murray's T50, by contrast, is clearly designed to be used as an actual road car even if, I suspect, both cars will mostly spend their lives as more-or-less static exhibits in private collections.

I imagine that the only time they will be used in anger is on owners only trackdays as they will be much to fast to mix with other cars. I was also sceptical but when you hear that Cosworth V12 shriek you may be converted I think. The GMA T50/ Valkyrie twin test should be quite something if any journalist can pull it off.Gassing Station | Supercar General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
