R8 GT Reversing Camera Not Working & Other Q’s

Hi

I have an R8 GT with retrofitted OEM camera that was set up to come on when engaging R.

Now on engaging R there is no camera screen and the MMI stays on whatever screen you were on.

Any thoughts and ways to check appreciated.

On another note I’m the third owner and have done 1000 miles in three years. It has full dealer service history. Can I switch to servicing every two years without it having a great effect on future resale?

Finally I have been considering swapping for a first gen Boxster Spyder and a Z3M Coupe. Leaving aside ongoing costs which do you think will be the better investment in say five years, keep or trade the R8GT?

Very few 987 Spyders around; might feel a bit underpowered but a lovely drivers car

The Z3 doesn't come near to the others imo. As above, Spyders are very difficult to find but could be the best long term investment. You shouldn't rule out the R8 GT, however, as some see it as the most desirable of all the R8's.
