Lol.

It’s based on recalls rather than warranty claims, but still some interesting stats.

Ha at last someone realises that a Porsche is not built from granite.
Well done Lambo.

they appear to have double counted recalls that are listed separately for two similar models in the same range !

I'd be more interested to see figures relating to how likely or unlikely a car is to break down and cause disruption to its owner. Many recall issues are dealt with during routine servicing and have no impact on a car's ability to be available when the owner needs it.

Bit odd treating the 911 (in production since the late 60s and most still on the road, including early 996s being bought for pennies and maintained for less while daily driven) on the same basis as recent production cars and garage queens.

Well exactly. Recalls have nothing whatever to do with reliability and nor do MOTs. What, for example, has an MOT failure for insufficient tread on a tyre got to do with reliability? Nor is there any accounting for any maintenance done. Complete nonsense.

It's obviously clickbait nonsense. If you follow the link to the Uswitch site which actually performed the survey then you will find a list of 25 cars, not 15. On there you will find wildly differing scores for slightly different versions of the same car, for example Ferrari 488 Spider is 4th with a score of 5.93, but the 488 is 19th with a score of 8.61.

from the uswitch site, you then need to access the government stats in order to see how inconsistent they're been in amalgamating models

What a daft, meaningless list.

Since when was number of recalls an indication of unreliability?

And since when was the Audi R8 a supercar? getmecoat

I'm quite impressed it took as long as 10 days to post this. :-)
