Was it anyone on here?

Thought I was hallucinating for a moment as it's not what we normally see.

Made my day.

You were just pulling out of The Black Dog car park as I was parking.

Such a delight to see!

Without doubt, the most visually stunning car ever made!

I'm 52 but I was 12 again, for a moment smile

Hope you had a good day.

Yes, It was a genuine, " We are not worthy " moment, which at my age I didn't think I was still capable of smile

I'm sure it was seeing it out of context and the contrast against the mundane that promoted the reaction.

Life's been rather draining lately but just for a moment, all was well and awesome.

Thank you.

Takes me back - the Black Dog was the "local" to my school. Often full of teachers having a swift one at lunchtime so they could face the afternoon teaching the likes of me! Glad to hear it's still going 40+ years later ...

The only time I saw one was when I was a teenager. I saw one driving past me accelerating hard along a straight I was gobsmacked.

Went to tge seaside in it today. My partner and dog travelled on ahead!

ready for trip to the seaside #cars #carphotography #countach

They let me out in '86.

My kids are there now which is a bit surreal sometimes.

Eight and Ten - they seem to be enjoying themselves despite all the disruptions.

When I'm up there for parents' evening and the like I have the old layout fixed in my head from the eighties and I'm slowly incorporating the new one.

Some areas are exactly the same and others seem to have had new staircases appear that take you to places that didn't exist before.

I'll have probably worked it out by the time they leave smile

Surprised you could find anywhere big enough in Lyme Regis to park it; I'm guessing it will appear in the bad parking thread soon ;-)

I knew someone with a Countach (actually I'm fibbing it was a part built kit car but girls thought it was real and that's what counts right :-) )

Mine are year 9 and sixth form.

Next time I'm in Lyme with the countach I will give you a shout.
