Reliable tyre fitters

Any recommendations on where to go to get a set of Pilot Sport 4S tyres fitted on the 488 GTB. Freaking out at the possibility of damage to my expensive rims.

Blackboots Wheels in Motion Chesham used to be good but no recent experience - Pirelli have a list of performance tyre specialists on their website - but the better places tend to prefer to supply & fit not just fit

The best chaps I found were a little ATS place in Didcot.
I’ve used them twice to put the MPS4s on my Alfa 4C. They aren’t high end, aren’t posh, don’t aim at the poncy end of the market, but were just thrilled to have my car in and take really good care of me. They even took the wheels off and gave them a spruce up (cos I’d knocked them about a bit).

Negotiate with main dealer or Costco, yes really, their fitters are very good. They photograph every wheel and tyre before and after, seem very careful and their prices are way lower than anyone else, they have a tie in with Michelin. I think they have a new supercar policy where you remove your own wheels from the car under their instruction. But really i could not fault them they were brilliant.

+1 use them regularly. Decent prices and great service….they have.a “touchless” tyre replacing machine to protect your wheels. Not relevant on the Ferrari but they are one of the few tyre fitters that can deal with CL’s….they put two people on the job and literally doiuble check every stage because of the issues if it’s not done properly.

They do all the tyre work for DK Engineering so used to dealing with expensive cars.

Do you have ceramic brakes?
I’d be more worried about those than the rims

Yes I do, that is another reason I used them.

Thanks for the feedback. As a separate post I report very poor availability on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres in general.
Blackboots will have to get the fronts in from Europe for me at 8-10 days lead.

They got my Cup2 Connect’s from Europe for me when there were none in the UK. That was last year some time.

Don't laugh, but I use Tyres on the Drive....!

They also photograph each wheel before and after and it comes with the advantage of being able to watch them do their thing!
