Do you keep lambo garaged?
Discussion
There's a difference between tucked away off the street and street parking - there was a McLaren kept on the street that appeared on Google Earth & Street View - on the other hand I drove past a covered McLaren in the owners front garden barely visible today (much like the Lambo under its cover in a Tulse Hill driveway for the past few years)
My McLaren doesn't fit in the garage (I knew it before I bought it). It lives outside on the drive, very visible to the road.
Given the choice between owning the car and keeping it on the drive - or not having one because I couldn't garage it - it didn't seem like a very hard decision.

Most people wait until they've got a suitable garage before buying a fancy sports car. Doesn't mean you have to but I bet only a tiny number are routinely parked outside.
I agree with the above. I wouldn't have even considered a £200k supercar sitting on a driveway. Even the merc slk and Range Rover go away in the garage and I live in a rural location. I wouldn't be able to sleep if I was in a large conurbation but then I have a better insight than most about things that go on late at night after 30 years in the constabulary and thank god I'm retiring as its only getting worse believe meI don't think the proportion of people who keep their supercars outside is 'tiny'. The minority certainly, but even on here one other McLaren owner kept his outside.
As I said - my choice was have the car or not. Moving house doesn't interest me, and not having a suitable garage wasn't a gating factor at all.
If the worst thing that happens in your life is that your fully insured supercar might / does get stolen, you don't have a lot to complain about.

Check with your insurance company, depending on area they may insist on it being in a garage.
Also cheaper (is in my case) if it is garaged, 30% difference from garaged / driveway.
though this differs depending on where you are and the insurance company. Some charge more if its in a garage compared to off-road parking, presumably because of all the knocks and scrapes from people crunching into bits of the garage when they park it.....Also cheaper (is in my case) if it is garaged, 30% difference from garaged / driveway.
I kept my Lambo on the drive for a few months before I moved house (and had a garage). My drive was quite visible so I used an outdoor car cover but would admit that would be chore if you're using it regularly. Insurance premium was not that much different garaged or driveway, not sure I would want to park on the street through regularly due to the potential for vandalism.

Can you elaborate? I'm interested to know. I gather you're not talking about people shagging on the bonnets of supercars.Kid B said:

You would be gobsmacked what some toe rags will get up to. I think having 2 bum cheeks imprinted on your bonnet is the least of your worries but yes thats bound to happen but only after they have jumped up and down on the roof several times first
There is a Lambo Huracan that lives on a side street in Harborne, Birmingham. Whoever owns it had a Gallardo before it for many years. Every alloy was scuffed, front spoiler damaged, always in need of a good wash but I'm guessing used as a daily all year round. Don't let not having a garage stop you.
I have a double garage at the rear of my house, but keep the 458 on my drive as a/ I'm lazy and b/ I want to be able to use it more frequently.
Mind you - it was only an extra £120 p/a on insurance to have it on driveway and its fully gated so a bit more secure. Wouldn't do it without a gated drive IMHO.

He must have been well connected with the local wide-boys. My mate had his Merc nicked off the drive in Harborne. Organised crime outfit who ordered a new V5, bought keys from the dealer and no doubt were away onto a ferry - the car was never seen again. A guy on ocuk has a aventador that he keeps on his drive . It caused quite a stir as it wasn’t fitting, whatever that meant.
Enjoy life , as mentioned above if it was a choice of having one without a garage or not having one at all then you have to get one
I keep my 458 in the garage, it would pain me if it was outside all the time but everybody’s different
