Got an order in for an Urus for early next. I need to lock in the spec and build.

Anyone got any must have options that are important to have on these?

Anyone with any experience on what they are like to live with?

I see it as a free / very low cost car for 12/18 months as residuals hold up so strong.

Had mine about 4 weeks now, it’s an absolute beast of a car and fantastic to drive, my specification is;

Akrapovic exhaust
Door puddle lights
Optional stitching
Full electric seats with massage and heating/cooling
Embroidered head rest logo
Lower area carbon exterior pack
Big interior carbon package front
Park assist
Contrast stitching on the steering wheel
Orange callipers
Upper area external carbon pack
B&O audio
Wet arm wiper - crap in my opinion
Ambient lighting package
Carbon kick plate
MFSW with perforated leather
Black anodised on aluminium inserts
Vehicle tracking
Off-road modes
Panoramic roof
Black roof rails
Rear seat heating
Privacy glass
23” rims shiny black
A Citura leather seats
Pearl effect paint in Arancio Borealis Orange

I’ll see if I can post a photo.

You won’t be disappointed

You have gone nuts with the options list there, love it biggrin
How much is Akrapovic exhaust option?

That looks phenomenal in Orange. Is it a Pearl capsule car?

Not a Pearl Capsule. Not sure whether the Akrapovic exhaust is worth it as I have not actually heard the standard exhaust 🙈 think small fortune 🤔

I’ve just done something very similar, and I’ve specced it with the minimum needed to give me ‘free’ motoring (assuming I order a new one when this one arrives!).

Anyhow the options list is smaller but has all the essentials imo…

Configurator code is…. AGKKAC

What's the lead time at the moment? I heard they are coming out with a Performante type of version too so that may affect residuals on the "normal models"

Love all these options but does it come std with cruise control?
Seems like an anachronism on a Lamborghini BUT essential imo for those huge stretches of 50mph motorway driving

Cruise is standard, it looks like the radar controlled version is standard next year also..

Bumped in to the Lamborghini UK marketing bods doing a Sth Coast promo tour, and apparently Urus lead times are now up to 18 months!!
Seems to be getting even more popular than ever..

They are everywhere around here in Cheshire, I’m wondering when the second hand price bubble is going to burst, it can’t be too much longer. There are 30k miles cars still advertised in the £190k range, madness.

Supply and demand, Lambo cant get enough out the door quick enough. Given their limited production, lack of expandability, cant see them dropping/falling in line with the so called predicted bubble burst. If you can front the cash rather than pretend to own one on finance and happy to shift in a year or two then its a no brainier imo.

Exactly, I can’t see there being a correction for at least a couple of years imo..

My crystal ball disagrees but time will tell.

I’d buy another one given the residuals but I’d never pay 180k for one with 30k miles on it and I think now the main hype and exclusivity is eroding not many others will soon either. I paid just over 200 for my well specced brand new urus and the residuals on that are safe. If you run an 30k miles Urus for another 25k miles what’s that going to be worth then? Who knows but the chances are you’ll take a bigger hit than the guy who bought it new, this makes no sense and can’t be sustained.

Just my opinion but we will see.

Is this realistic? I'm surprised if so.

Can’t help feeling Lamborghini should be enlisting Audi’s help to reduce the backlog. I’ve seen Bentleys being made on the VW Phaeton line in Dresden so why not make Urus’s in Ingolstadt?

Does make me think Ferrari are very late to the SUV party…

They are a bit like bitcoin at the moment, if more people pile in then it continues to work and hold up/appreciate, but the first pull back or lack of customers/demand it could half in value virtually overnight.

They have made 15000 of them in a couple of years vs 14000 Gallardo over 10 years. If i couldn't really afford it & was financed up and reliant on it holding & low rates forever i would be terrified.

I am genuinely surprised there is a market that is so large for 200k mass produced cars, everything else comparable absolutely tanks money. I was absolutely convinced when they came out i would be able to buy one 6 months old for 50k off, so i was wrong.
