Im considering a car that is currently advertised with this company. They seem to have a lot of high value cars for sale. Anyone had any more experience with them?

Believe it's Dean from Redline set up his own shop. All experience would say he's a good person to do business with.

Yes it is him, believe many of the cars are SOR but seems to have a good reputation.

Yes - I used Dean’s (DMB) services last year to sell one of my cars.
No issues- did exactly what he said he would do, and spot on service. I’d recommend him and would buy or sell with him again.

He must be too busy for new customers. I live nearby and am selling one of my collection so I thought I would have a chat with him and see if he might fancy selling it for me. Left him a message on Thursday on his mobile voicemail, not called me back. Advertised it on PH instead.

Strangely had similar experience but was buying, in a rare cash purchase position (for me that is !) Requested info got email reply saying would get in touch following day. Chased 2 days after then nothing so bought elsewhere .
But like others, prior reviews were positive

How quickly do folk expect to wait for a reply to an email or voice message enquiry to a car dealer? I’d be happy enough to hear back within three or four days before getting the hump. If I didn’t, hear back I’d call again.

But we've seen this all before..!! Someone working for some other successful dealerships.. think they can do it all for themselves,so start up a LTD Company on thier own with little capital set up a website and advertised for SOR stock albeit with the best intentions to start with but it never never seems to end well.... John Hawkins at SCOM was the last miserable end for his SOR clients along with many many others... "SOR" "Should off realized".... too good to be true.....!

He had a lucky escape then! I hate people that leave voicemails on my work phone then get arsey that I haven't got back to them in a day. If I'm busy then I'll get back to you when I have time...

Sorry but you’re wrong. If I had a car on SOR with him and he couldn’t be bothered to return calls from buyers within 2-3 business hours then I’d have it back sharpish. Just crap service; don’t go making excuses for it.

Absolutely. Selling cars is a customer service business. Pretty much anyone calling or emailing is a customer or potential customer and it takes very little, but goes a long way, to give at least some response as soon as you reasonably can even if you have to say sorry that you can't deal with the enquiry immediately but will do so soon. It is also just good manners.

You clearly enjoy working if you're putting yourself first before your clients and prospective clients.

I didn't. From time to time I see people with this 'I'll get back to you when I have time' attitude that I knew when I worked. Still working bless em.

Exactly. Couldn’t believe that reply from Cremeegg. Doesn’t matter what I’m doing, I get back to my clients ASAP, even if highly inconvenient for me, it makes them feel special and they keep coming back.

Quite.

We aren't talking about 'sales executives' hehe selling junk cars from the likes of Motorpoint either. If they can't be arsed returning calls within a reasonable time frame then this reflects badly on their overall business ethic so with an attitude like that I like others wouldn't deal with them.

I had similar. Had to chase, when I finally spoke to him I felt like I got the brush-off.

Is he doing both? Redline and DmB?
