RTI Gap Insurance
Discussion
Evening all,
This friday I may be collecting a 458! Very excited.
The car value is £133000. £89k of that will be financed.
Ferrari have quoted £1230 for 36 months of GAP RTI insurance. RTI = Return to invoice so different to normal GAP insurance.
I am trying to source my own policy but its very hard. Most either wont touch Ferraris OR go high enough for me (£133k).
Anyone got a good contact for GAP RTI Insurance please. IM sure I can get it lower than £1230 as normal gap is only £350 for 4 years!
Thanks.

Have you tried ALA? Ask for Katie....
I've used them on most of my new purchases - including an R8...can't remember the price though!
Don't forget you are insuring the difference (the Gap) between what the insurance company pays out on a total loss and the invoice price - not the full purchase price.

Yes thank you.
All the websites ask for the car value first and almost all don’t go high enough.
I have found one supplier, InsureTheGap who will do it for £730, with a car value at £133k and a max payout of £50k which is perfect for me and half the price of Ferrari, which is underwritten by AXA.
At least I have something to work on.
