Any thoughts, particularly from Lamborghini (Sian!) owners on the collaboration between Ducati and Lamborghini on the formers' Diavel semi-naked bruiser?

Only 630 units worldwide and sold out within 24 hours of order books opening.

Secondary market values are approaching 2x list price and that's before delivery!

I just don’t understand why they didn’t do it on a super sports bike.
I commute on a Panigalle and was offered one but didn’t fancy it.
I would have jumped at a super sports one though.

Agreed with that although I suspect commercial interests influenced the decision.

I suspect sports/super sports bikes don't need much marketing to sell!

I have a couple of Ducati's. The panigale 1199 and Diavel. I actually love the look and idea of the new Lamborghini Diavel. I have watched all the videos on line about it so many times, very sad I know
However my only gripe is that certain youtubers who are not necessarily bikers have bought them just for clicks, it seems a waste to me. That's just my opinion of course.

Do you mean a 35% on the base Diavel or 35% premium in the secondary market? I thought in both cases, the figure was closer to 50%?

Ducati milking the market again ,remember the AMG version? what next an orange 3 wheel version called the Bond Bug that could have a 70 number on the paintwork to refer to the 1970,s?

What happened to the AMG valuations? Did they end up commanding 'premiums upon premium'?
