SCD Membership
Discussion
Apologies if this has been covered recently, but I couldn't find any threads from the last year or so.
Long story short, worth it? I live on the border of Surrey & London, looking through previous meets it looks as though a lot of them are more midlands or west than south east.
Looking to see whether membership would be worthwhile. Also noticed another club, SCC. Again, is that any good?

SCC is very well run and by a great group of people. Super friendly and engaging. They have a great list of events planned for the rest of the year and have had a great series of zoom calls during lockdown, with the first to have a live demo of the Artura by McLaren in Woking and then the car designer at Morgan etc. Also get champers and a welcome box..very well put together
Re: super car club.
Definitely join the Drivers Union, a very well organised club. Join for free or get the benefits of being a full member (very inexpensive compared to other clubs). Great cars, great WhatsApp group chats, laid back and friendly owners. Lots of excellent meets and car shows to attend throughout the year. You will not be disappointed.

Makes a difference if it costs you £100 and 6 hours round trip time for every event.
Easy to say Drivers Union if it's local to you, not so clear cut if it's not.
For info, the 'free' mixed marque clubs in the North seem to be Leeds Supercar Club and SC:UK

That's true (although the original question is about the South East). I am still a member of Leeds Supercar Meet from when I was up that way and Jason does an excellent job with it. But I can't see any reason not to join what is local to you (and possibly even what isn't) if you can join for free. You don't have to go to anything but if you know what's happening you have the option and some things are worth a 6 hour round trip!Easy to say Drivers Union if it's local to you, not so clear cut if it's not.

I’ve been an Ferrari owners club member for the past 30 years, joined The Drivers Union a while back and from my perspective it’s the best supercar club out there. Right through the pandemic members have stayed in touch via WhatsApp, Facebook etc and we’ve had many great driveouts, the club is growing fast with lots of events planned this year. Sy who set up the club works tirelessly to enhance the membership offering, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

SCD seems very Northern focused.
For down South its between Four Marks and Drivers Union.
Hard to tell which is "better"
Four Marks seems longer established. However its hard to tell if they offer more or less than Drivers Union as the Events pages are fairly locked down.
I'm a paid member of both and both come highly recommended. For down South its between Four Marks and Drivers Union.

DU events tend to be more London/Essex/Kent based although over the Summer we've had a few runs down to Goodwood when restrictions allowed. I hope Sy doesn't mind me saying that as the club has grown in size, car entry requirement is higher although I snuck in during the early days with my R8. Recently they've added a paid tier alongside the free club.
Four Marks tends to be centred around that location so more events are local to me in Hampshire. Plus they have the Performance club (as well as the Supercar club) to accommodate erm... high performance cars that aren't necessarily supercars. Although as a free member you get invited to some events, my feeling is you need to become a paid member to get the most out of it, hence why I upgraded this year.
