FERRARI insurance
Discussion
I have my collection (and houses, and rentals and well, everything) insured through First Point. Cant recommend them enough. Sensible, common sense, reasonable price, quality products. They're that good I find it hard work dealing with other companies for other things.
Contact Dean O'Mahony on 01604 498894 and, as I don't want to put my real name on here, say Yorkshire bloke wot talks a lot referred you. He'll know who you mean. hahaha.

I use Simon Heard at Bond Private Insurance. They placed all my cars on one policy with Chubb. That includes two Astons and the Ferrari 575. No issues with agreed values.
Had a claim last year. Could not have been simpler. Full agreed value paid out on the car.
So for me Bond and Chubb.

They also do a multi-car policy, if you have other exotics - again very competitively priced
I have a NFU Multi-car policy which includes my 488. Unbeatable although no track day cover which is why my RS is with Footman & James which are also brilliant. They cover my house and every year ask if they can quote on the cars. Based on the positive comments on here about them have offered them a car or two coming up for renewal and have called them with details of vehicles we’ve been considering buying but each time they have come back and said that they’d want to start with something cheaper/lower performance.
Wouldn’t even touch a FFRR as first vehicle on policy or give illustrative prices to show that moving the station car over (where they’re more expensive) would be worthwhile.
Neither my driving record nor claims history are shot to pieces and have lots of experience with performance cars, so curious about whether it’s a standard requirement, something our local branch insists on, or specific to me!
Instead ended up with Chubb via Alan & Thomas for a couple and the rest scattered around.

Another vote for NFU, insure my 458 with them and the premium is very reasonable.
Strangely they have become very uncompetitive on our other cars ( Range Rover, Amarok, Mini etc )in the last five years having been with them for 30 plus years so have taken our business elsewhere, but with the Ferrari they are almost unbeatable 🤷♂️.

I used Admiral, they were competitively priced. What they’d be like if I needed to claim is anyone’s guess.
I've considered getting a quote from Admiral in the past myself but have always felt that in the case of a claim they could fall short. It would be useful to hear from anyone who has been unfortunate enough to have had to make a claim and how it was handled.

I only know one person who had a put a claim through Admiral. I moved our Ferrari to a specialist after that.I'm currently with A Plan and find them very competitive and with a 'human' touch.
