So given the year we have just been to I feel like treating myself to my 1st "supercar".

The budget is extremely wide, with a Porsche GT4 at the bottom end and a Porsche GT3 RS/Lamborghini Performante at the other end (man maths!). I am also considering a manual 991 Porsche GT3.

Now depreciation aside (where I guess the Porsche's have the edge), I was wondering what the annual costs are of these cars, specifically the service costs and warranty costs.

Are they much different between a Porsche GT4, a GT3/RS and a Huracan Perf?

I got the 5 year extended warranty when I bought my 2019 Performante Spyder, and I believe these are transferable so you might be able to find one that is still covered. Worth looking out for.

Servicing on the Perf follows an annual cycle of minor / major, and so far around £1,500 / £3,000.

Hasn’t missed a beat in 2 years of ownership.

New engine for the 996 must've been a nice little surprise

Give it another couple of years and it'll become one of your favourite motoring anecdotes over cocktails
