Hi All,

Just wondering with lockdowns, how much have you driven your cars this year?

I usually drive to a destination, and have therefore been somewhat limited as there's been limited places to drive to.

Snowdonia trip - cancelled
France Trip - Cancelled
Norfolk Trip - postponed

Even trying to book a restaurant to drive to has been limited.

When we were finally "released" in the middle of the year, the idea of driving to restaurant with just my wife, somewhat pales in comparison to meeting up in London with a bunch of friends. So it got shelved.

Just feel like i've missed out on driving it this year and wondered if anyone felt the same

A lot less as usually do a France / Italy trip and UK stuff has been difficult... I would say I have driven about a 1200 miles vs 3-5000... Sad. Gus

Yep thousands of miles less, usually do 25k per year, so far covered 5k. not good and feel massively frustrated due to that. I have only done 900 miles on the motorbike too. Hope 2021 is better!

I've had my R8 V10 a year, last weekend. I've driven just over 4,000 miles.

I've been really spoilt as much of that has been on deserted roads, in the SE of England and in Wales.

As it got busier in Sept it made me realise how we will probably never see such empty roads again.

I managed to squeeze in a 2K mile road trip to Lake Como via Germany mid September. When you didn't have to quarantine in UK from Germany/ Italy. Except for that there have been no big trips.

F430 124 miles to and from Maranello's for service plus 12 miles to and from M.O.T = 136 miles

Gallardo 12 miles, to and from M.O.T = 12 miles

GTB 78 miles to and from Chichester plus 73 miles Track day , 12 miles to and from M.O.T = 163 miles

What with lock down , lack of car meeting and only one track day that's all i could manage

Done loads more mileage than normal in the daily driver and banging round the lanes in the Rods.

Try harder next year Boris permitting.

I managed less than 1K miles in the R8 which is a good 2K down on an average year

The Evo was even less. Apart from competing in one event (usually do around 7) it went for a service and mot.

Even the daily was down to around 3K from an average of circa 5-6K.

About 4000 miles in the 360. I got my wife into hiking, so we drove to a few countryside walks. Just so happened the roads were quite nice...

I have been stuck overseas the whole year, due to work commitment and COVID. Desperate to get home and drive some of the toys, extremely unlikely I can get back into the UK for Christmas. My cars have only been on the back of transporters to go to a service and or MOT. Incredibly depressing year and zero miles driven by me!!

Could always be in a worse situation, so I must not complain. Have really missed the cars, meets and trips I would normally indulge upon annually.

Here's hoping 2021 is better for all in every way! smile

I've done 2k miles in my 991.2GT3 RS WP
I've done 1k miles in my 488 since August.
Both currently on SORN due to the stop start welsh covid lockdowns. Only one track day back in February with four cancelled. I've written 2020 off and hope to make up for it in 2021.

Trip to Monaco for the Historique in the 599 - cancelled

Road trip to part of the NC 500 was completed in the 599, which led to it being traded for a 458(!)

All-in I think 1500 miles in the 599 this year, about 500 in the 458 since October.

5660 miles in my 600LT since January, was expecting to do more but had a blast to Wales which made up for the many cancelled events. Trackday next week so may get to 6k miles so far this year.

Mine was a victim of the first lockdown, so didn't get any miles from the start of March to July - but since July I've managed just over 3k including a trip to Cornwall.

Daily Diesel has done about 2k if lucky.
Weekend Porsche did about 3k, originally had a trip back over to Porsche planned but that was cancelled, did a 1700 mile NC500 trip instead and the Porsche has been sold since.
Kawasaki has done about 100 miles if lucky.
2x Bikes have done about 1500 miles
