Any thoughts on what the inbound Ferrari announcement is?

This video rant of the new SF90 spider and what ferrari do makes total sense to me.
A great rant imo.

Why would you be annoyed about the release of a spyder version that everyone knew was coming? There will still be a lag between actual deliveries of coupes and spyders of about 18 months.
This is more a rant of “I can no longer get a new Ferrari, drive it for a year , sell it for a small loss , and rinse repeat on subsequent models”.
Initial buyers will now have to be wealthy enough to absorb significant depreciation. They will have to hang on to their cars for longer, to justify the cost
of carry, and maybe use them for what they were designed for - driving.

Totally agree, this is the Car Guys finally throwing his toys out the cot at realising that you can no longer offset the cost of buying regular production models by making monies on series specials. He hinted in another recent video that he has other things going on in his life at the moment that mean he needs to free up some cash? His newly delivered Pista Aperta has probably depreciated from new i.e. the gravy train has stopped. This is more a rant of “I can no longer get a new Ferrari, drive it for a year , sell it for a small loss , and rinse repeat on subsequent models”.

He’s obviously peed off at how much money he’s lost in the last 18 months, but we all knew the previous few years madness of driving a Ferrari for free couldn’t last. Looks like he’s just looking for someone to blame imo.
