Trusted tyre fitter near Edinburgh?
Discussion
Hello folks
As is the way of these things one of my rears has picked up a slow puncture on the first proper stretch of the new car's legs. Not been able to locate the offending object in the tyre inspecting it myself. I'm at a hotel near Edinburgh, does anyone have a local recommendation for a good tyre fitter that can look at a plug repair or replacement?
Slightly wary of taking the Mclaren to kwikfit, have heard stories of wheels picking up damage on balancing machines etc.
Cheers

Depending where you are staying there may be some local independant "supercar" garages that can help you out.
Are you in the city centre or on the outskirts?
May be worth posting in the Scotland section if you have not done so?
Know its a supercar, but I used Farmers Autocare at 194 Queensferry Rd to swap over my Audi RS4 tyres a while back and they were very careful with the wheels .
Only other place that I have trusted is Craig Moncrieff Cars in South Gyle who often swaps my winters (https://www.craigmoncrieff.com/) but he has does not supply tyres

Thanks for the recommendation George. RS4 wheels look painfully expensive to repair (especially the diamond cut ones) so I'd take that as a big thumbs up Will give farmers a try later today or tomorrow. Are you in the city centre or on the outskirts?

No probs, glad I could help and you got sorted out.Thanksfully the RS4 has gone so no worry on kerbing the diamond cut alloys anymore. Felt a bit of an indulgence anyway as my wife just left it at the park & ride each day, hardly used it as one of the dog hated the noise of the V8.
