Looks awesome, love it.

Not so sure about the electronic trickery to compensate for the engine revs/s / decay being so high to make shifting possible... Wouldn't it be better to just put a bit more flywheel on it? I like rev matching myself and would take a couple kilos to make shifting more analog, but we'll see what they come up with.

Otherwise I love it!!!

Gorgeous. When I visited the old Pagani factory there's a lovely handwritten note framed on the wall from Gordon to Horacio expressing his admiration for the Zonda.

Fascinating to know what GM himself drives daily, when the F1 launched it was an NSX, he dropped in this piece that he drives an Alpine.

The Brabham Alfa influenced fan is a cool thing.

Stunning and a refreshing change not to be chasing numbers.

Shocked that 30 cars are still available.

Yes, I'm a bit mystified by that too. Is it because the hypercar market is a little crowded now? Or maybe buyers at this level just want to have the biggest numbers. No bragging rights with 600 odd horsepower is there? Few of them actually drive their cars either so having the best drivers car ever made also holds little appeal. I would have one just for the engine alone!

Engaging podcast with Chris Harris and Gordon Murray just released.

He exudes an air of supremacy without the arrogance if that’s possible - basically the other manufacturers have no idea how to make a proper drivers car.

If i had the money there would be only 29 cars unsold as of this morning, however it shall remain in my dreams unfortunately..I suspect the reason that 30 are left for the taking apart from the huge sum they cost is that nearly all of today's hypercar buyers want flappy paddles..Another reason is that a lot of these potentials simply are incapable to getting to the central seating position without having a hernia or a trapped nerve.

I for one cannot fathom how 30 cars are unsold - it might change quickly now when people have gotten a proper glimpse of it.

The asking price is ‘too low’ (used LaFerrari territory) for something that is completely unique and moves performance pillars by miles.

My guess is that these will be £4-5mio in the secondary market before long.

Just love the way this car has been designed to engineering perfection and everything has to have a purpose. No marketing, no trends, just the ultimate driving machine.

Such a refreshing approach.

Will they though? Is there anything stopping a gen2, gen 3 being produced every 5 years or so. Took quite a while for the f1 to hit its heights if I recall correctly

I think GM is only selling to people who will actually drive it, rather than those who will put it in a garage and try to sell it for double the money in a year's time, which might be why he's taking time to 'vet' buyers?

Depends on terms of sale? Those looking to invest will be asking GM to commit to a limited number.

And gen 2 or 3 im not sure will happen. As GM seems to be driven by new challenges, so a new cars/vehicles will probably be next.

Is that qualified in anyway? Or just your opinion?

Yes, im sure he may say no to selling a car to someone he really dislikes, but otherwise would he 'vet' potential buyers?

Flippers ain't the issue.

It's the sacrilege of 10% of all F1 production sitting in one middle eastern garage, and never being used

Completely disagree. We live in a free market.

People who are prepared to spend their hard/easily/however earned can drive or collect as an item of art as they please.

I certainly won’t stand at the side judging negatively.

If I was to make a morale judgement then human rights abuse would be a vetting threshold before whether or not a buyer is going to drive the thing x miles per y period.

Overall even at the top top end, oversaturation is why not sold out.
