Garage Car Lift (Storage)
Discussion
I bought a 3.6t four poster from Automech a while ago. (Model number: AS-4T36S)
Not expensive and all very straightforward with easy home assembly, although rather heavy. Can be used in conjunction with a jacking beam if you need to remove the wheels of the car that's parked on it. Runs from a 240v plug.
Looking at their website it seems they now do a double car four poster which looks fun. https://www.automotechservices.co.uk/products/4t36...

eBay !!
I’ve bought a couple from closing garages, took it apart transported it home and rebuilt it. I am an expert at it now.
Store two cars in a single garage, I do put fence posts in each corner just in case. No issues in 4 years and they cost £300 plus a single phase motor for £160 ish.

I have 5 4 post lifts and one 2 post lift in my garages at home. All from http://www.sjrgarageequipment.co.uk/.
I've had the 2 post and 4 post in my triple for around 8 years and the four 4 posters in my quad for 5 years and not had a single issue with them.

I’ve been looking at this sort of thing as I’m running low on space. Was thinking of adding 2-3, probably the single vehicle lifts so there’s less moving of cars to get the ones on the top. Saw some that had only rear posts that looked interesting (fewer obstructions).
Aside from choosing the lift, how do you figure out if the floors will take them?
