Legal or illegal kind of misses the point. There just seems to be a general lack of repsect these days for other peoples' right to enjoy their own personal enviroment without intrusion.
Noise pollution, a public nusinace, anti social behaviour. Call it what you like, but it seems to be growing in all aspects of life.
There appears to be a level of entitlement that people have that is eating away at society and it's tremendously unheathly. It's starting to promote more extreme political followings and populist politics which is dangerous in the extreme.
As a global society we're currently standing on the edge of an abyss looking in and we're about to jump. Who's going to stop us? Who's got the character and ability to start getting people to respect each other again?

Personally I'm inclined to believe something else happened at some point which was antisocial; there's also the well documented history of supercars being driven in an antisocial/dangerous manner around that and surrounding areas so I'll bet that wasn't the first time.Why was the guy running after the last car to leave? Because the last driver acted antisocially in order to piss the residents off.

All young people in supercars are drug dealers or renting them? What a bizarre attitude you have. This is basically new money and old money not getting along. The old guy doesn't understand the modern world. If you want peace and tranquility don't live in the middle of one of the busiest and biggest cities in Europe. Running down the road or jumping in front of cars isn't going to solve a lot. Move to the countryside and then complain about litter etc. that's my advice to him. Or if he can persuade anyone to vote for him run for MP again...

Because these are young guys with some money who like attention - lots more people in London will say "wow, cool" rather than "look at these bell ends". I'm guessing that most of these SVJ owners live in central London too. I don't move in the knightsbridge SVJ circles, but I'm guessing occasionally they go out of the city, but in the end they get more enjoyment from seeing their car being adored/noticed/Instagrammed than they do discussing the camber in that last stretch of A road. I'm also going to take a big guess that all these guys are massive petrol heads, just a different set of priorities.ThePackMan said:

I think thats missing the point slightly, these guys aren't respecting others, it doesn't matter where in the world you are having a flash car and a big watch doesn't make you more important than anyone else gbrown2014 said:

I don't think these guys are doing anything wrong. We can disagree on that, that's cool with me.

Honestly I think lots more people in London are in the "bell end" camp. Most of the people who think "wow,cool" have probably jumped on the train to get into town after school to get some You Tube footage.Maybe it's an age thing, I just don't get why you'd be driving that type of car into central London, parking it in a Mews and having you're own improptu car show.

Nothing against the cars,the brand is not my cup of tea personally. It would be the "giving it large" that would likely fall into the bell end situation.Plenty of places to enjoy these cars in the manner they are intended other than a Mews in Central London.
