Has anyone heard from Lamborghini about updated delivery dates on their cars at all? I was due to have a car with a build slot in June but haven’t been able to get anyone to tell me an updated timeframe as yet.

Factory’s open again, so presumably your dealer will be able to tell you?

Factory, in Northern Italy, shut because of lockdown.

I’m not sure if you have seen the news, but there has been a slight bug going around and most places have been shut.

Add a month or two to your original delivery date. They're behind on all orders and from what I heard they might work during August which is usually their summer break to decrease the backlog.

Sounds sensible enough. I did get an answer of sorts from the dealer in the end who said something similar. They don’t really seem to be able to put an accurate number on it.

They’re Italians.
It’s part of the experience.

In my experience even in normal times the delivery date can vary up to 6 months over when expected. Ive never had one delivered early and best was a month overdue. That is for early cars though rather than Mid production models

I'm would suspect not much will have changed in timelines if there is less buyers now. If not it could be a long wait!

Delivery times are a dark art of their own within Lamborghini.
Despite having a tracking number, order number and chassis number and being told the car had left the production line it took almost 6 weeks for the car to arrive at the dealer.
Don’t worry though it was worth the wait !
