Taking the Ferrari to shops - faux pas or not?
Discussion
I fully appreciate this is purely a matter of opinion, but nonetheless was interested in others' takes:
- Is it in bad taste to take a supercar to the supermarket under lockdown?
On the one hand, why the hell not, it's a car as is any other, it's a lovely sunny day, life goes on.
On the other hand, "now is not the time for pleasure drives", some would say it's insensitive, and you risk getting heavy handed attention from the fuzz.
I'll probably do it, but it has given me some pause.
How about you guys - keeping them under wraps, or taking the opportunity for a run on your occasional permitted outings?

Do it! Life is for living and other people won't really care, i've seen quite a few supercars out and about.- Is it in bad taste to take a supercar to the supermarket under lockdown?

This has been mentioned before.
Personally I wouldn't drive mine to the supermarket - doesn't feel right when a lot of people are suffering.
If you do, whilst I don't think there will be a huge differing reaction from a lot of people, prepare to experience a more negative reaction considering the climate we currently live in.

I don't have a Ferrari, but I do have several classic cars. Last week I took one to the shop - after all, there's nothing to say that you can't.
Where it misfired was not with police, but when I came out of the shop there were 4 or 5 people standing round the car, all (IMO) too close together. As I didn't have a face mask or anything I could use (and not wanting to appear to be a total arse by asking them to move away from the car), I ended up skulking in the car park until they moved away, then legged it to the car, just threw everything in, and headed off.

Oh yes they are, have you not got a local Facebook page full of spittle flecked rage? We have, if it's not people in expensive cars it's cyclists https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Went to drop some bits to my mums nursing home in the 720, great drive & a good few thumbs up, especially from kids out for a walk with their parents.
Did exactly the same last week but on my bike, had 2 idiots shout "go home" to me & a van driver ask me if my ride was essential!?
So by the look of it, my 720 is more acceptable than my road bike!
