Just a few days ago , and I can’t quite remember where , I read that Sant’Agata were now keeping an even closer eye on their franchises ..... the throwaway line appearing to suggest that it might somehow be related to Sevenoaks .

Anyone know more ?

I think someone mentioned on another thread that most/all of senior management were let go and replaced with new staff.

Did they close it and open the Mclaren Service Centre instead? Having another Lambo dealer in Tunbridge was probably a factor as well.

It's a Ferrari Service Centre now (albeit hasn't opened due to Covid-19).

As c3m states above, it’s will now be a Ferarri service centre, currently still under construction (excuse the poor photo)

Yes, even the Italians couldn’t make an Audi unreliable by sticking a badge on it smile

I am pretty sure that L. Sevenoaks shutting down has nothing to do with Tunbridge , Ferrari or McLaren .

It took some time to get through to the Board of Directors of the Holding Company , but once Jardine Motor’s MD and Chairman were involved , they were absolutely brilliant .

Jardine took over completely , investigated with an independent external expert , then fully rectified the issue .... top notch service once they got involved .
But this was 3-4 years ago .

For Sant’ Agata to have to look again at the way all their franchises operate on the basis of one franchise ( and as has been suggested earlier in this thread , that S’s senior management was changed prior to the shutdown ) suggests something very seriously wrong .

I for one was very thankful for the Board of Jardine Motor’s involvement .
