Photographs of the Countach Production Line Please
Discussion
I am about 3/4 of the way through writing a book on the Lamborghini Countach , and am looking for photographs of the Countach going through its build process at Sant’ Agata .
The photos would need to be of sufficiently good quality to keep the publishers happy , but amateur / enthusiast photos often carry something within them that is lacking in professional/factory images .
If you can help , please do write to me at : countachbook@gmail.com
This is purely a rank amateur having a go at something he likes , so all I can offer you is full acknowledgment within the book for any images that are used ( albeit in good company — RM Sotheby’s have been generous enough to provide almost 120 studio quality images of the 17 most important Countachs that have passed through their hands , and Tonino Lamborghini has written a whole chapter )

I'm fairly certain it was the 1987 issue that featured the Evoluzione, 959, F40 on the cover. And possibly also the May 1985 issue with collection of BR33 from the factory. They are in storage at my other house so unfortunately cannot get to them at the moment or would offer to scan for you.
Thank you cgt2 - that’s really generous .
I actually have both those issues .
In fact , I have assembled all my old car magazines featuring the Countach in separate piles , in chronological and model order , along one length of the writing room - much to my wife’s dismay as they have now been there for about a year .
But the Autocar and Car magazines of the 70’s , 80’s and 90’s were outstanding ... amazing text and photos .
Evo , in the period that followed , was also great
