Ferrari parade world record- 15th September 2012

I was there in my 355gts, what a day! My son and I will never forget it, here’s a few pictures- one of the bonnet sticker, the group photo was out of the FOC magazine article (my car closest to camera) and the GWR certificate that proudly hangs in the hallway. I was there !!

It was a great day out - lovely weather , fantastic cars , wonderful atmosphere .

My wife and I were in our 1994 Rosso Corsa 355 GTB - a car that we had for 9 years , and that we drove all across Europe in .
But that Ferrari Parade was one of the most memorable days out that we had in the car , over a 25,000 mile ownership experience

Only sold it for a Murcie Roadster , and sometimes a tinge of regret creeps in .
Particularly when I remember that summer's day at Silverstone .

We have the biggest parade of Evo's

Would have loved that.

We did the 2013 (I think) Silverstone Classic 911 parade with over 1000 which was amazing.

I was there in my new to me 360. I was parked on Becketts waiting for the parade to start.

A few I took on the day with my gal pal!

We were lucky enough to be car #1 in the parade which was quite exhilarating I can tell you.

My first big event and still my favourite day! :-)




This was on track just before we all set off




IIRC I think they couldnt really fit anymore cars on the track :-)

Every car had a sticker on teh bonnet so I carefully peeled mine off and recycled it to stick on my service record box

I was there too, at the time in my new 612 Scaglietti..... great day out, and four up able to get the toe down for a few corners to get into position.
