Audi R8 V10 Plus 2016 car

Hope I can get a bit of assistance.
What appears to be a very nice car has come my way and tempted to give it a go as I can fund it and make ownership rather cheap.
Just wondered what they are actually like to live with, any common issues to be aware of and what options are must haves.
The car in question has £22k worth of spec. Its Black, on black, Jan 2016. 1 Owner thing.
Genuinely appreciate any advice or input from current or former owners.

It's a good spec, although some will say you need the comfort seats, I actually prefer the buckets.
I've had two gen 2's, a coupe and a spider and think they're fab and underrated by many who have never driven them, possibly just badge snobbery.
Only thing I've had on either of mine is a slight grumbling/ suddering from the ceramics when simultaneously braking and turning at low speed. Apparently they all do that sir, although my 2016 car was worse than the 2018 car. First service on the 2018 car was at about 18 months/ 7k miles and c. £650 I think

Well had a first drive last night.
I've been using a 2016 RS6 Performance for the past few months so not exactly in something slow but this R8 is just a whole different world.
Dare I say I am actually mildly scared of it I have never owned anything mid engined before.
The noise is out of this world. Completely and utterly out of this world. Never had a V10 before so this is just hugely grin inducing. Wasn't able to spend a lot of time in the car as my heavily pregnant girlfriend was not feeling so great last night so felt a bit bad going out driving around pointlessly. Pregnant girlfriend, step dad to a 5 year old, baby on the way - buy an R8 right
I can't get comfortable in the car yet. My right knee hits the door card and I just cannot get adjusted to feel comfy in the car. I guess this is why normal people test drive this sort of thing rather than buy unseen isn't it.
Values do look steady, I am motortrade and have put next to no deposit into this car and its costing me sub £800 per month. I can safely run the car for a few months and get out of it with a break even or small profit as a minimum.
Went over a speed bump, car felt slightly pogo ish and I instantly felt assured thanks to Palmball that it was normal for the model '65 2016 car.
Laser lights at night - I expected them to be bright but again was completely blown away.
Will try and post some pics up today.

Palmball the car felt like it fluffed a gear change yesterday and threw up a warning saying drivetrain error restriction. It would then only select 2 and 4. I turned it off and on again and nothing. Audi warranty looks to be £2k give or take for a year so might get one bought. Ever had any issues.

Never had an error with the gearbox and if it went away by itself I doubt there's much to worry about. However, to hopefully settle your mind, I'd say the gearbox is not totally infallible and, in auto mode, it can be known to fluff a gearchange. In my experience, this is regardless of model year. It's a superb gearbox on the whole, about as fast and smooth a shift as you'll get (easily the equal of the PDK and the Graziano in McLaren, if not a bit better) and it's pretty much unbeatable in manual mode. That said, the paddles Audi fit are totally unforgivable and almost entirely undo all the good work on the gearbox engineering. They're probably the weakest design feature of the whole car.
You mention the suspension; yep it feels broken but rest assured it's totally normal. Put the suspension in Auto / Dynamic mode and the effect is not as bad (indeed, in Dynamic the pogo'ing effect all but disappears).
And finally you allude to the driving position. It's not perfect, certainly not in comparison to the Porsches or AMG's I've had and bought into sharp focus when getting out the perfection that is a McLaren driving position. But it's not so bad that it's a deal breaker (not for me anyway, but I'm not that tall), it's much better than the Huracan on the same platform (mainly because the R8 has better seats) and I suspect you will get used to it.
Finally, £2k on an Audi warranty has got to be sensible given the value of the car and the undoubted cost of any failed parts. I'm sure you'll get some of that back on resale as it'll be a lot more desirable with a warranty than any similar aged car without.
