Hi PH,

I need to move one of my cars about 40 miles - not far but it's SORN and without an MOT. Does anyone have any recommendations on a reliable company to use?

Thanks

Book it in for MOT near the dealers then drive to dealers. If you get pulled tell them you are taking it for MOT and I believe this is legal, if you don't get pulled then happy days. That's assuming the car is in good order of course and insured.
But don't forget to cancel MOT once car is at dealers.

Either you can drive it and run the risk, or use Shiply to get transport companies to bid for doing this job for you. I've just done this to have one of my cars transported to the guys who look after it for a service and MOT. Cost about £120 for a similar distance trip.

I have used JK Vehicle Movements many times, and they are excellent, highly recommend them.
