Lamborghini’s Everywhere...
Discussion
Would be interesting to see a comparison of recent sales figures of Ferrari v Lamborghini. Over the past 2-3 years I have seen several Huracans, Performante’s and Aventadors and not many Ferrari’s.
Whether be it around town in Central London or at car meets etc there seem to be 5 Lambo’s for every 1 Ferrari.
Anyone got sales figures to compare?
I live in a small town in Buckinghamshire and apart from mine I have only seen another 488 and an F430 but there are at least 15 Lambos around here.
Not complaining but just wondering why Lambo seem to be doing so well when compared to Ferrari?

In my case, and this might not apply to all, I went to buy a 458 and absolutely loved it but the attitude of the main dealer and the battle I had to go through to get them to do what was required to bring the car up to standard was tiresome. After having my deposit down for a few weeks I wondered into a Lamborghini dealership and was wowed by the cars but also the much more down to earth attitude at the dealership, nothing was too much trouble. So I cancelled and bought the Huracan. Whether be it around town in Central London or at car meets etc there seem to be 5 Lambo’s for every 1 Ferrari.

Mine has been the exact opposite - I visited a Lambo dealership with a friend who wanted to buy a Huracan and we walked around for 10 mins but no one even came out to say hello!
The lady at the reception then said the sales guys are in a meeting and will be free in 30 mins so feel free to have a coffee - we left...

Different type of buyer, perhaps? With Lambo owners more likely to be out and about at car meets?
Every Ferarri I've seen recently was driven by an older gentleman, whilst every Lamborghini driver has been twenty to thirty years younger.
As an aside when was the last time you saw a Ferrari in a music video on MTV? But you see Lamborghini very regularly (or maybe I just notice them?). I think Lamborghini are more 'of the moment' ??

Lambo’s have always been ‘of the moment’. They rock! And that’s coming from a McLaren owner.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=D-NvQ6VJYtE

I think this has a lot to do with it. Typical Lamborghini owners, especially with the newer cars tend to be much younger than your average Ferrari owner. The younger generation want to be seen out and about in their cars.Every Ferarri I've seen recently was driven by an older gentleman, whilst every Lamborghini driver has been twenty to thirty years younger.

I think also Lamborghinis are perhaps not as mileage sensitive on resale so tend to get used more.
Also perhaps you just notice them more as the cars stand out. Kids will point out Lambos, take video with their camera phones, but they are not so bothered with Ferraris.

So they told you hang on for 30 minutes , they were very hospitable towards you and offered you beverages and you thought that was rude???.....Oh i just saw your username!
Yes and I have an Urus on order too so you want me to change to Ranging Bull now? There’s good and bad dealerships in every brand , bham Ferrari are utter toss bags , where I found imho Leeds Ferrari brilliant, nearly bought a hurracan from Pangbourne and to be fair the salesman was bang on , but an opportunity in Leeds was not to be missed
