Cheers will read that later. I followed The development of his cars from the beginning on and off and always liked his approach / the goal of what he wants to achieve with the cars. Haven’t read up on it in a while, so your views will be very interesting

Edit: Just read your article - very interesting. May I ask what pricing is roughly?

Its pretty close in $ to what a well spec'ed F8 Tributo or 720S Spider will set ups back.

That’s true, bit this can be had with a manual and looks like it might be faster on track as well.
The new Ferrari might be interesting (still no manual though and likely more expensive)

and if you sit in the middle of the Ferrari it will be very difficult to drive and exceedingly uncomfortable.

Now this might be a daft question given you are getting one but don't you think given the relatively low volumes of the glickenhaus car, that's a very low price that he's trying to pitch against the likes of Ferrari/Mclaren which have vastly more scale/r&d budgets? Getting a good road car I'm given to believe takes rather a lot of time and money which I have to admit it's hard to see how especially with that price this scg004 is going to compete effectively in that bracket. Making a race car fast to compete in GT3/sp9 etc is I think probably a much easier thing than getting the road car to go up against the likes of the f8/720 which are awfully capable cars....

I don't think SCG views the 004S as a 720S or F8 Tributo competitor. It's a completely different proposition, the SCG 004S is a 6 speed manual and centre drivers position. I expect it to be more race than road car.
