I saw this fantastic Vintage Petrol Powered mini Ferrari 308 this weekend and wondered who might have made them and how many are there out in the world...... I might need to find one!

See Video of the car below.

There was a company in Park Lane, London selling them for about £10k in the late 80's, including a Countach in white.

This is the nearest thing I could find..

I don't know how many there are but they were made by Italian company Agostini AutoJunior who also made a Testarossa, Mondial Cabriolet, Countach and probably others. Here is an example of the 308: http://www.finecars.cc/en/detail/car/93010/index.h...

In good condition I believe they tend to sell for prices not far off the real things.

I remember being in Harrods as a kid about 25 years ago and frothing over a kids convertible 2 seater Ferrari with a petrol engine in it. IIRC it was about £12k or so, which is about what my mum had just paid for a year old Xr3i convertible.

I too recall being in Harrods as a child in the mid-Nineties and seeing a scaled-down D-Type. Think it was about £20,000 but I could be wrong.

As for that model 312 PB referenced above, I re-watched this a few days ago and was just as staggered by it as the first time. Does anyone know if he ever sold it and made another, as planned?

Edit: To answer my own question, he has started three more models. No updates for years though http://mps-sportproto.com/en/modeles.php

Many years ago, late 70s, early 80s my parents next door neighbour used to build Bugattis for kids and they were sold from Harrods. He used to test them along our road smile

In 1987, FAO Schwarz toy shop in NY had a white Ferrari and a black Lamborghini Countach (with spoiler) for sale. working, petrol etc. The Lambo was for sale at about $5k if my memory serves me right.

Thanks for all the help. I've managed to track down one but the $15,000 has me considering forming my own body.

Around 1998 I saw one in FAO Schwarz, possibly a testarossa, I could be wrong but I thought the price was in the $25k - $50k range! I remember thinking you could easily by a real Ferrari for the amount
