To all our friends who know them and havnt heard yet just to let you know Pete and Chrissy where involved in an accident yesterday. Both in hospital being looked after. Hoping for a speedy recovery.

Being updated by a friend with them throughout.

will do paul, dont think pete will be looking at this for a while, has a lot of fractures around eyes apparently, chrissy has a broken wrist and head injuries, she hopefully will be out by the weekend but not sure about pete yet. Very worried about them. (although I will take the piss when he is better)

Thanks for the update - not good, but I was fearing it was much worse. I don't think the hospital food will meet Pete's demanding standards.

ETA: I wonder if the mods would allow this thread to be cross-posted onto the South Coast section, as I'm sure loads of people there will want to know how Pete & Chrissy are doing?

it was on there last night but has been taken off, think its fair to say all should know as they are very very good friends of mine and a lot of others. hoping to get there tomorrow to see them. relying on the wife to drive as im not allowed.

Just got off the phone with chrissy. She sounds out of it and in pain. She hasnt seen pete yet and doesnt remember much.
