How many '99 Diablo SV's left?
Discussion
Thanks but that doesn't seem to differentiate between any of the cars from '95 when the SV first appeared and the 2nd generation. It's not possible to identify which were/are the open headlight cars. For example, if a '97 car came into the Country in '99 it's counted as a licensed (or SORN) car from that year forward.
I suppose I'm hoping owners or people who know the owners might be able to provide a more accurate list.

Mine , number 9
Yours I think number 7 ex Ian Ward
This one was for sale by a Mr Ravat ( cat D )
The reason why it's cat D
This one went to Aussie I believe maybe Europe last year .
The next two not sure if they still alive or even if in UK .
Lastly three open headlamp 99's . Out of the 9 I believe it includes roadster , one of the sv here is same as above .

Cheers, so potentially 6 remaining?
If the 2nd generation was 530BHP and open headlight, how does this work:

Potentially 7 , if the one not listed here is an SV not a roadster but not sure if there were two roadsters imported though . Heard the Orange one was with a LCUK member last year but not confirmed , not heard anything of the baby blue one . Edited by ahaughton on Sunday 6th November 18:02
There's also a yellow roadster LHD in the country , met the owner at Silverstone this year , nice chap but can't for the life of me remember his name . Told me he could'nt part with the car while moving over from Florida so he brought it over with him . Incidently he own's a rake of cars including an F40 . But the roadster is a open headlamp 99 model .

Some late 98 models I believe were uprated to 530bhp , still had the old binnicle dashboard though and flip up headlamps . Prior to that 510bhp and the "sister car " the seller claims to have sold prior to this one was I believe 510bhp . If the 2nd generation was 530BHP and open headlight, how does this work:

I thikn I might have seen the roadster yesterday - only caught a glimpse of it. Is it yellow? On a plate like M11 CKS or W11 CKS? Saw it on the M1 but thought it was a 6.0 roadster (did they make them?) or possibly, I'm sorry to say, a kit car! Really didnt see it well enough to make a call either way.

"W11 CKS" returnsReally didnt see it well enough to make a call either way.
Insured as a "DC Diablo".
Google shows "DC Diablos" as kit cars so I think your right that it's a kit car.

Yep , he's probably sold more Diablo's than anyone else in the country so I'm told .
Ive seen your car at Carlos, it very very nice and a very unusual colour with the pearl. What colour is it and how limited?

Go's as Met Rosso , can't say I've seen another in that colour over here , saw one in the states though for sale some time ago , having a bugger of a time colour matching stone chips out so probably going to have to have the whole front end done at some point , front bumper been done prior to purchase but not very well it has to be said . Matching the paint appears to be tricky , it flips from red to orange in sunlight . Looks cool but difficult to do a quick repair job on it .
Hmmm, thats a pain given its a standard colour too!!graemel said:
L999LSV used to belong to a very good mate. I bought him the number plate. Stunning car, scurro blue, took it to le mans and back. Still don't know why the bugger sold it sex on wheels
Don't care 'cos I bought it :-) Mind you, Ian did make me agree to give him first refusal if I ever sell the beastie!Edited by ahaughton on Saturday 10th December 22:16
