Well here goes.. setting off for the Shetlands today via the Orkneys first. First leg is to Perth about 5 hrs from sunny Yorkshire.
The lifting system on my Murcie hasn’t worked in ten years so apart from luggage the boot has planks to help get it over the ramps on the Scottish ferries.
Scapa Flow on the Orkneys looks to have some stunning roads..

PS Unfortunately they were all out of 99 octane at Tesco Inverness when I left this morning, so hopefully that was replenished for your arrival this afternoon.
