had my bag nicked last night whilst playing 5-a-side footy. thing is, it contained mobile, wallet, front to car stereo, and fob for the cerbera.

my question is, does anyone know if a couple of new fobs can be bought and the receiver re-programmed, or is it the whole lot new? is't a meta system if that's any help.

You need at least one of the old ones to program in a new fob. If you have no fobs, then a new unit is reqired (like mine!)

i have the original fob, and the manual bit to the immobiliser too. so what's the prognosis?

thing is though, that i don't just want a new fob, i want the code changed on it since some little turd is running around with the other fob (which is TVR branded! never again) and i park the car in this area once a week. i'm currently using the manual immobiliser which looks like a bike lock key aswell to make sure they can't take it from home (wallet had photo driver's licence in it, address for all to see)

I didn't think you could get new fobs made from an original one- I think you need a funny card with a number on it somewhere. I've lost mine somewhere...

dannylt - your card thing is in the bottom of your filing cabinet thing at home as it fell out of your wallet with car service history and stuff.

it aint a whole new alarm. apparently, if the alarm controller is taken out, it can be done. 2 new fobs, and a re-programme. £120 + 1 hr labour from garage to take the controller out and replace. whole job for £160, and this time without any TVR branding on the fobs, no matter how good it looks!
