Howdo,

Picked up my '99 Speed Six last Friday and am having a ball.

Got a few niggles with the car (as expected). The horn stuck on as the sales guy was checking the car over before I picked it up. The oil light comes on if I get the revs above 5k so I'm not , thought to be a sensor problem as the oil pressure is good.

Done +400 miles so far. Got about 16mpg out of the first tank, looks like the second will be a little better. N.B. The only reason I worked this out was to wind up my diesel driving father in-law.

Driving to work each day is less of a chore as I can indulge in the new sport of setting off car alarms once I get in to the underground car park at work It's even woken up the security guards.

I live near Tonbridge and work in Bromley so if you see a silver cerb driven by a bloke with too much hair and a give us a wave. Unless there's something wrong I should be using it everyday.

Anyone go to the TVRCC meet at Dunton Green ??

Thanks for the offer Gary but I've got in-laws (the diesel variety) around this weekend and escaping will be a little awkward.

Getting the mother-inlaw in/out of the cerb was entertaining anyhow.

I'll see if the handbrake will let me out on the 7th though.
