Just had a very scarey moment after giving it large - The accelerator stuck on VERY LOUD!
I've had a quick look at the pedals and there appears to be some slack on the return of the pedal - obviously worried about getting back in and pressing it down again.
Any ideas

I've only ever had this happen once to me. It was on a Renault 12 TS and it was wear on the internal wire of the throttle cable. i.e. Some roughness in the wire made it stick to the inside of the plastic sheath it was in with the effect of holding the throttle open.

Don't know where to look on the Cerbera, I'm sorry. Others on the site will know better than me. I'd get this professionally checked a.s.a.p. myself.

It is the Throttle Cable - It is very badly frayed - only hanging on by a single thread at the Engine end.
Anyone replaced this before?

Sorry, not on a Cerbera. Any owners know? (If it was a Griff/Chimaera I'd be recommending Steve Heath's book about now...)

Yep I've had one changed but - it still needed lots of grease to stop it going stiff. Been ok for a couple of years now.

I was very well looked after by the RAC last night. They re-threaded a cable through the existing sheath and crimped some ends on to get me going.
Booked the car in for a replacement - It looked too fiddley for me to do.
