Blue Cerbie in...Catford?!

So, was it you this evening, delighting the weary commuters with your enthusiastic use of the loud pedal? Bright blue, W reg I think - going rather fast, you see. Spotted twice: at about 6.30 approaching the station roundabout in Lewisham, then again about 15 minutes later charging north along Rushey Green in Catford?

I wonder if it was the same one I saw chasing a Chimaera along the A21 at Knockholt a couple of Sundays ago...the sound was incredible & reminded me why I love them so much!!
There is quite a collection of Tivs around Lewisham & Catford funnily enough, & one more Giff in the Bromley area in the next couple of months with luck.

Good to know there are a few of us round here then! (I'm in Catford too and it's causing me a few palpitations as my Chim has to live on the street - almost tempting to sleep in it just in case..)
Might well be up for the Kent meets - is that the Dunton Green one? When's the next one? Probably going to pop over to Virginia Water tomorrow for the S meet.
Good luck with finding a Griff, Nick - will you be buying privately or via a dealer?

I would be interested in the next Kent meet as well.
Ive been to a couple of E Sussex meets & a fine bunch they are..only trouble for me is its quite a drive on a Thursday night after work.
Alex, if you are in around I run the timber merchants next to Hither Green station (Springbank Rd)pop in some time.
To answer your question I will probably buy from a dealer so I have a bit of back up if needed, but I am allways looking in the private ads as well..just got to get the builders out of my house first then its time to have some fun!!

Gary - think I might have spotted you at today's get together - did you leave quite early on, 12ish? We had to head home after about an hour because of work commitments, a huge shame especially on such a fab day, but hope to get over to Brands for the GTs at some stage next weekend.
Nick - Hither Green station's not far from me so I might well pop in at some stage. I went down the dealer route too, same thoughts as you on that front, and as I've said elsewhere Fernhurst were great.

I've not seen many Tiv's around Bromley but I always and when I do see one!!

Gary (and everyone else, the more the merrier!) - what about Brands as I mentioned above? We're not sure yet if we can make it on raceday (Monday) - will find out later tomorrow, if we can go on the Monday we will but Saturday is definitely on the cards. Weather looks ok for then as well. Very accessible from SE London and Speed 12 to drool over when we get there....
(NB also the big rendezvous at Clackett Lane Services at 9am on Monday, of course.)

I will try to get to the Clackett lane meet if at all possible but can't promise at the moment.

Does anyone out there have any info on parking at Brands???? Can TVR's park in the cicuit car parks as before??.

i own a rose coloured 4.2 and live in east malling kent and use my cerb to and from work in catford. i use the a20 and m20 every day to get me at catford by 0800 but never see other tvrs.

i will keep my eyes open in future.
