Buying a house with a garage! (To house my Cerby)
Looking at one on Saturday and need to know Cerbera measurements to see if the garage will be big enough.
As mine is on holiday at Blackpool, please can someone let me know the vital stats!

Just remember to add extra width for the loooonnnnnng doors. When in the garage, my Cerby has about 15-30 cms clearance at each side, so getting in and out is extremely fun. Decked the garage walls out with old carpet and foam.

Really need another garage (bigger), cos if I put on weight I'd be screwed. I struggle now, seems 1930's garages were NOT designed for modern cars ;-(

On the plus side, being a woman, and hence the additional (well to some guys) sticky out bits, the other half can't get into it when I've put it in the garage :-0

"Can you leave the car on the driveway so I can go for a spin tomorrow.....?" g/f
"Erm, insurance says its garaged over-night, so no!" Me

Harsh but fair.

Bleedin modern garages aren't designed for modern cars! Some f'wit architects and builders seem to be in league with the greens and think the only car you could possibly own would be a Nissan Bleedin Micra or Fart Car (apologies to owners!). Anything 'normal' you could stick a family or even the wife in will barely fit!

Yep, modern garages are tiny! Have Halford sponges on side walls and sponges attached to chest freezer at front. Usually drive in 95%, leave handbrake off and nudge into final position. Garage door closes with literally an inch to spare!!!

Knocked down our old garage two years ago because roof leaked and was about sixty years old etc) and built a new one. Normal width doors obviously but a lot WIDER inside.

Now, if I put the Chim in, missing the mirrors by about three inches or so on each side, the car is in the middle of the garage and both doors will open fully and not hit either wall by about six inches!!

Good tip: screw a length of hosepipe along the wall where your door would hit. Looks better than carpet ... IMO
