arsed up the last message - too late to type. What i meant to say was that the rear tyres 255/40 zr 17 bridgestone potenza SO2s had strangely worn on the inner sides and not the outer sides, when i replaced them this morning. Any views as to why this would occur?

A lot of camber on the rears? I have only about 1 or 2 degrees and get this too - depends on the sort of driving you do. Unless it's really severe, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

As long as it's only the inner inch or so, and there's still tread showing on that bit (albeit less), I wouldn't worry too much.

Get your dealer to check the camber and toe-in.

Had the same wear pattern occur on my Cerbera front tyres in spite of tracking being spot-on. The cause was found to be worn upper wishbone bushes. This allowed the wheels to "lean in" giving too much camber. Replacing the bushes did the trick. Suggest you get the upper bushes checked on your rear wishbones. Hope this helps.

John

just had mine sorted......cause was the shocks at the front were shot, upgraded to adjustables and were cheaper than TVR's.......picking it up later, went throught 2 sets of tires before garage told me this......went halves on tires with them...... it's definitely camber issue but if the front starts to wear on the inside.....aka recent recall can do this......get it sorted...... cost me loads in rubber!
