Just had a new pair of 225/35 18" SO2's put onto the front of the Cerbie. £198 Each inc Valves, Balance, Fitting and the good old VAT.

How does this price fair?

Incidentally this was at a TVR dealer.

Sounds like you got a deal compared to Kwik Fit.

They are £232 inc VAT just for the rubber!

I think it's just under 170 from micheldever, all in, so considering the convenience of having a dealer do it, not too bad.

But you cant get So2s at MDever anymore and most dealers are out of them. So hardly worth comparing prices.

Sounds rich to me. I got a pair of S02 fronts (same size) from Bracknell Tyre and Battery for 250 the pair, Valve, fitted and Balanced.

My SO2's are probably only going to see another month or so wear before they become rather hard compound slicks. If SO2s are not readily available what do you guys recommend?

There aren't any S02's in TVR sizes left in the country - Steve Heath has bought them all and stockpiled them.
