Looking at 2nd car for later on in the year...currently run a boring laguna to get to work and back and do the footy runs for the kids (mud and dodgy sports grounds).

I am currently considering a Scooby P1 or waiting for EVO VII 300. Then have a dilemna as to what to drive if i do get a class 2nd car as well probably going bankrupt and causing extreme marital disharmony.

Don't know what to do..and don't want to live without my cerb..but dont want to spend the majority of my driving hours behind a boring car (ie laguna).aaaaaaaaaagh. suggestions?

Sorry for intruding in the Cerbera Salon, but everybody elses seems to have left the premises.

I can't afford a decent second car either and have solved the problem by getting an indecent second car (errr - that doesn't seem right somehow...)

My everyday Alfa (164 3.0 V6) cost next to nothing to buy, loads of space and comfort, reasonably entertaining to drive and if I park it upside down in a ditch only the farmer will get upset.

If it goes wrong (sorry, this is an Alfa - When it goes wrong), then I have my Tiv and bike to fall back on.

Mind you this plan backfired last Autumn when I had to go to a customers site in the most diabolical weather and the Alfa failed, I took the bike ! Lets just say that it was a character builiding experience.

Nice to have met you all - Ta Ta

I think my 164 was the most reliable car I've ever owned! Then again I didn't take it on track days etc.

I never thought we would have a Volvo until the kids came along. We went for a Volvo S80 'cos of the safety cage etc. Very easy to drive but very slow!
