indicator beeper

is it possible to adjust the volume of the indicator beeper yourself, or is best left to the pros. (want it turned right down, if not off) i understand it's a dash removal job (only tvr!!)

It is a dash off job. But from memory its then only a case of removing a jumper (techie speak, does not refer to your clothing). I don't you can turn it down but this will turn it off.

Mines been turned down! Found this somewhere on the net:
"How do I stop the indicator beeper?
A: There is a volume control for the indicator beeper mounted on the circuit board onto which the speedo and tacho are mounted. It is on the back (i.e. the side that points forwards in the car) of the board, in the top centre. To get to it, take off the leather-clad cowling that surrounds the top instrument pod by undoing the two butterfly nuts that can be found by groping away under the dash."
