I've heard (although I've never sat in one) that the Cerb is more of a 2+1.5 than a 2+2.
Apparently, despite how tiny the rear seats appear in the photos, the passenger seat goes a long way further forward than the drivers, and accordingly has more legroom. This gives the person behind the passenger reasonable space.
So if you're wealthy enough to buy a Cerbie that should easily accomodate you, your wife, the au pair and junior (in the small seat).
When your offspring is too big to fit in the back of your Cerbera, he'll probably borrow it and wrap it round a lamp post, there-by solving your seating problems for you.
Whatever you do, don't give up you TVR (tell him every body!) you'll be sure to regret it.
Buy some old shed to ferry the tribe around in. If you buy something nice they'll only wreck it!

Hold on Xen - you've had a Chimaera for all of five minutes and now you want a Cerbera? Don't make me laugh. You were all for selling the Chim last week. What's it gonna be next week?
Keep the Chim and get yourself a Mondeo ro something to ferry the gang around in - that's what I've done.
Mike
Unless you're gonna flog it to Dex of course
to be honest i think i may be just envious.. i actually set out to buy a cerbie in the 1st place (already having got the obligatory 5 dr renault for the wife and brats)
but i'm sure u guys know what happens if you have a fantastic test drive with roof off foot down.... fell in love. looked at no further cars, then had run of bad luck, now sorted, then realise...hold on i was lookin for a cerbie 4 weeks ago!!!
good thing i didnt need finance on the chimp as i would be a bit stuffed!
mikey two things
1. if i read it right you've just admitted to owning a mondeo
2. one of the only reasons i'm in this part of the station is cos dex isnt!!!!!!!

Yeah, might have sounded like that in retrospect – I've actually got a Passat! What I meant was 'a Eurobox to use every day'.
