taking the plunge
Discussion
i've decided it's time to take the plunge, and trade in my reliable 4.0 chimaera for a cerbera. i've seen a few advertised, and one in particular has caught my eye. it's the 1997 purple 4.2 at fernhurst. does anyone know anything about the history of it (good or bad)? it's got 37,000 on the clock, so in a way, i'm hoping it's had an engine rebuild fairly recently (apologies if the former owner reads this).
i've read most of the threads to do with cerbera buying, and looked at websites such as joospeed. what i gather is that you can't take a car on face value (ie miles done and age only), and to dig as deep as possible into the car's history.
