Anybody see Garry Numan on telly last night with his black 4.5 Cerbie? What a nice chap, thoroughly loves the car. Bloody crap TV programme though

Yes and I saw him at the Bedford autodrome trackday last April....he seemed to be enjoying himself as did everyone else (possibly with the except of the blue Cerbie that totalled his front-end). Nice to see a 80's pop-icon who's not full of his own importance.

Very true, top bloke, shame about the rest of the program.

He's been along to a couple of our MaxTrack track days. A really nice bloke. He got a bit embaressed when his wife's phone rang, and she'd got "Cars" as the ring tone

that presenter was a right a**se though. Just repeated what everyone said. Particularly when he jumped into Vic Reeves VW van to hear the stereo and said wow Pioneer! Also when Will Carling did the impression of the policeman in a thick Welsh accent and the bloke said "Welsh was he?". Liked the bit with the Cerbie, the rest was pants. Where do they find these idiots who clearly know little or nothing about cars?

He's a good bloke. Loves his car. Knows his limits, and doesn't exceed them. He also listened to the briefing, and wasn't too proud to take an instructor (I can never figure out why novice drivers think that they can't learn from an instructor). Just the sort of person you want on a track day.
