Can anyone recommend the best (cheapest) source of Bridgestone standard-fit (as at '97) tyres? Prefer delivery or fit in Bedfordshire. Also, same question applies to a new exhaust - happy with a sports one as this sounds better and seems to be cheaper

I just paid about £290.00 for two 17" rears mail order from Micheldever Tyre Service. They are excellent and retail tyres cheaper than some dealers can buy them!

Could try Zertec for a sports exhaust -- not the cheapest but a pretty good system.

anyone got a number to hand for micheldever.
I just got a quote from Elite for a BStone S02 P Pos 255 35 ZR18 at £186.77 delivered. Sounds good price to me.

Thanks for the number - they quoted £395.09 for 2 of the new S03s. So I am going back to Elite to try and buy a pair of S02s if they have em at hopefully about £370 mail order.

and I got the pair of S02s Pole Positions (255, 35 ZR18) for £370 delivered. From Elite. Micheldever told me to bite their hands off and I didnt want S03s really. Just gotta find some cutlery that wil fit under the rim so I can get the old tyres off.

S03's are not recommended by TVR, which is why they have switched to Toyo. Still some S02's around though.

Recently put a full set of so3 on my 4.5 lightweight and I now understand why tvr do not recommend them, will be changing back to so2 when they wear out. found them to be horrible.
