Bought a Cerbie
Discussion
Well I have gone and done it - bought a Cerbera 4.5 via Pistonheads. Insurance only £770 via Privilege.
Pick her up at 7pm tonight - might take the scenic route home.
Got my credit cards ready and waiting ! Gulp! Hopefully wont be too much more expensive than my old Chimp.
Thanks to Ted for helping to bring us together!!

Its James Halls car (till tonight). Starmist Blue, Magnolia leather, 18 inch wheels (not spiders), no cats, late 98 S, 4.5, 1 owner, moon and back mileage, massive history..... Good honest car at a reasonable price. Its had some bodywork, loads of track days...
He took the racing suspension, sat nav and racing brakes off (and replaced them!) - so the suspension has hardly any miles on it.
Any Cerb is a gamble - this one has been so well looked after that it makes up for miles and track days. I havent got a warranty though - will post about those.

Enjoy it - I know that Slap... I mean James did.
Unlike a lot of TVR's, Jim actually used his and spared no expense keeping it mechanically A1. I'd feel a lot more comfortable with that engine than one with about 3k on the clock!
Bargain!

Left James' house and it was dark and drizzling. So didnt enjoy the first few miles until it got a little drier and I was more used to it in the dark and wet. But it soon dried up a little and it was fantastic. Didnt want to go straight home so took a few scenic routes.
Went out for a drive down b roads at about 9.30pm - again it was raining but I was more confident in the damp. Managed to wake most of the children in my village as I couldnt resist opening the window and reflecting the burble and crackles of buildings as I decelerated a few times or more.
I even got up earlier this morning so I could take a onger route to the station.
I think it's love.
